Australasian Aquaculture International Conference
Australasian Aquaculture 2010 International Conference and Trade Show
Update on the upcoming Australasian Aquaculture 2010 Conference REGISTRATION –If you have not already done so now is the time to register for Australasian Aquaculture 2010. The 2010 theme of ‘Keeping Pace With Change’ will provide an opportunity to come together and take stock on the position of the industry, to look ahead to what and where we want to be and to discuss various strategies for us to maximise our potential. Register now and take the opportunity to not only benefit professionally from the Conference and Trade Show but to spend some time enjoying the nearby attractions and surrounds of Hobart?
Please REGISTER online at http://www.australian-aquacultureportal.com/aa10/ GALA DINNER TICKETS ‘Aquaculture’s Night of Nights!’ -as part of the 2010 Australasian Aquaculture Conference, there will be a Gala Dinner held on the night of Tuesday 25th May at the Wrest Point Casino. We are proud to have the Tasmanian Salmonid Growers Association as the Gala Dinner’s major sponsor.
The goal of the night is to bring the Australian Aquaculture industry together and what better way to do this then over a culinary feast of the Australian aquaculture industry’s premium products? The menu will include Abalone, Prawns, Oysters, Mussels and Salmon, from which the Wrest Point chefs will undoubtedly work their magic!
A memorable evening will be assured for all attendees with local celebrity, Andy Muirhead, secured as MC and stand-up comedian for the evening. A biologist, who loves being a professional stand-up comic, is a surprising combination of talents, but Muirhead's credentials prove he is well-qualified in both. This well known local lad and host of ABC’s ‘Collectors’ features regularly on Triple J. His wit, irresistible charm and insatiable curiosity about all things obscure, will make him an ideal host for the inaugural Gala Dinner. Be prepared to be entertained!
Entertainment will also include; stand-up comedian Gavin Baskerville, who works closely with Andy Muirhead, live jazz band ‘Black Coffee’ and an entertainment performance that is sure to impress. This line-up is bound to have the crowd buzzing.
Please note that tables are filling fast and therefore we encourage you to book your tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. The Gala Dinner tickets are reasonably priced at $150 per person. It covers a three course meal, drinks and the entertainment. We believe this is a great value offer. Please note, tickets can be booked individually or as a table of twelve. Dress code is semi formal; lounge suits/cocktail dresses.
